Hi, I’m Alexis — the baker behind Three Little Loaves.
Three Little Loaves is a home-based micro bakery in Troy, Michigan, specializing in small-batch, naturally fermented sourdough. What started as a creative outlet during a major life transition became a passion rooted in patience, purpose, and home.
Every loaf is handcrafted using simple ingredients, long fermentation, and a whole lot of heart — baked from my home kitchen to yours.
My Story
Three Little Loaves was born during a season of unexpected change. After separating from my corporate job, I found myself searching for something meaningful — a way to pour my energy into something creative while being present with my kids.
Baking became that outlet. What started as a way to keep my hands busy and my heart full quickly turned into a passion for sourdough and the beauty of slowing down. I fell in love with the process — the patience it requires, the simplicity of the ingredients, and the way food can bring comfort and connection.
As a mom of three, Three Little Loaves is built around home, balance, and intention. Every loaf is naturally leavened, baked in small batches, and made with care. This bakery represents resilience, creativity, and choosing something slower — and sweeter — for my family and yours.
